lil egos

Lil Egos emerged from Dahlia's artistic interpretations, influenced by both her friends and her deep appreciation for anime and cartoons. These inspirations have played a crucial role in shaping her distinctive drawing style.

Dahlia had the privilege of working at Fuenfwerken Design AG for five years, beginning with a six-month internship at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this formative period, she discovered her passion for motion design.

Six months later, she took on a role as a working student, where she was responsible for managing the company’s social media channels and creating showreels for the website. Throughout her time at Fuenfwerken, she had the opportunity to collaborate with inspiring clients, including Hessen Agentur for the 7th Kreativwirtschaftstag 2024.

YALLAH, ALLE!

Yallah, Alle is a project developed during the second semester of Dahlia’s master's studies in Zeitbasierte Medien at Hochschule Mainz.

This deeply personal project was particularly meaningful to her, as it focuses on the positive aspects of BiPoC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities while providing a platform created by and for marginalized groups. Unlike many narratives that primarily center around trauma, Yallah, Alle aims to shift the focus. While acknowledging that trauma is an important part of many experiences, it is not the sole defining factor of BiPoC identities. These communities shape and influence pop culture, lifestyle, and politics in profound ways.

Yallah, Alle is a radio show designed to amplify these voices and stories—offering a space where they can be heard, celebrated, and recognized.
